Character 7 Taps Anna Higgs as Managing Director, Ups Carly Conway


Stephen Garrett’s U.K. production company Chapter 7 has appointed Anna Higgs as its new managing director.

The prod-co, known for shows including Tom Hiddleton-starrer “The Night Manager” and “The Undoing” featuring Nicole Kidman, has also promoted Carly Conway to creative director.

Higgs previously led global entertainment partnerships at Meta and was creative director at video channel Nowness, owned by LVMH. She has also previously worked at Film4 as a commissioning exec and an independent producer. Currently Higgs serves is chair of BAFTA’s film committee as well as being a board trustee.

Garrett, a prolific producer who also founded “MI-5” and “Life on Mars” shingle Kudos, first launched Character 7 in 2016. The new senior leadership team appointments are a signal of the company’s commitment to continued strategic growth and creative excellence.

The companies has recently wrapped on “The Night Manager” Season 2.
