K-Pop Star Wonho Sets June Comeback With Pre-Release Single

K-pop soloist Wonho is making his return to the music scene with a pre-release single dropping this June, marking his first new material in approximately seven months since November 2024’s English-language track “What Would You Do.”

The upcoming single serves as the opening salvo for Wonho’s debut full-length album, slated for release at a later date. The track will establish the narrative arc behind the anticipated LP, giving fans their first taste of the artist’s evolved sound.

Wonho plans to actively promote the new single across music shows and global platforms, reconnecting with his international fanbase while showcasing his artistic growth since completing military service.

The comeback coincides with Wonho’s “Stay Awake” 2025 South America Tour, which launches July 12 in Santiago, Chile. The four-city trek includes stops in São Paulo, Brazil (July 15), Monterrey, Mexico (July 18), and Mexico City (July 20), representing the official kickoff of full-scale global promotions tied to his upcoming album.

The tour follows Wonho’s successful U.S. debut appearances, including performances at Jingle Ball and an intimate fan meetup tour. His live debut of “What Would You Do” at Jingle Ball marked his return to the global stage post-military service.

Since his 2020 solo debut, Wonho has built significant momentum in international markets. His first album climbed to No. 1 on the Worldwide iTunes Album Chart and ranked high across iTunes charts in 30 countries, plus Billboard’s World Digital Song Sales Charts.

The combination of his roles as singer, songwriter, producer, fitness influencer, and fashion trendsetter has helped Wonho cultivate a diverse global fanbase ahead of this new album cycle.
