The first official trailer for Prime Video’s new series “Étoile” dives into the competitive world of dance in both New York and Paris. From “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel” creators Amy Sherman-Palladino and Daniel Palladino, the show follows two world-renowned ballet companies as they swap their dancers in a last-ditch effort to save their futures.
The cast includes “Marvelous Mrs. Maisel” stars Luke Kirby and Gideon Glick alongside Charlotte Gainsbourg, Lou de Laâge, David Alvarez, Ivan du Pontavice, Taïs Vinolo, David Haig, LaMay Zhang, and Simon Callow, with Yanic Truesdale featured as a recurring guest.
Sherman-Palladino, Palladino and Dhana Rivera Gilbert executive produce while Scott Ellis serves as co-executive producer. All eight episodes premiere on Prime Video April 24.

“The Real Housewives” are checking back into the reality TV house with “Bravo’s Love Hotel” premiering Sunday, April 27 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on Bravo.
Shannon Storms Beador, Gizelle Bryant, Ashley Darby and Luann de Lesseps are joining from the world of “Real Housewives” for a getaway trip to Los Cabos, Mexico in the hopes of finding true love.
The eight-episode realty show will follow the four ladies as they meet suitors and explore options before deciding how they want to check out of the Love Hotel. The show is produced by Shed Media with executive producers Lisa Shannon, Dan Peirson, Trifari Williams and Tom Ciaccio.

The futuristic adventure found in Apple TV+’s “WondLa” is returning with Season 2, debuting April 25.
Based on Tony DiTerlizzi’s bestselling series “The Search for WondLa,” the new season continues with seven half-hour episodes as sixteen-year-old Eva (Jeanine Mason) finds herself drawn to home while searching for more answers.
The voice cast this season includes Mason (“Roswell, New Mexico”), Brad Garrett (“Everybody Loves Raymond”), Gary Anthony Williams (“Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows”), Teri Hatcher (“Desperate Housewives”), John Harlan Kim (“Cruel Intentions”) and Ana Villafañe (“Castro’s Daughter”).

“The Bold and the Beautiful” star Heather Tom will write, direct, and act in an upcoming all-female episode of the long-running CBS daytime drama. The episode, airing during women’s history month, centers around the women of “The Bold and the Beautiful,” including Tom, Katherine Kelly Lang, Jennifer Gareis, Rebecca Budig, Jacqueline MacInnes Wood and Annika Noelle.
“The mother-daughter relationships are so interesting to me and so formative,” Tom told Deadline. “I lost my mother last year. I wanted to kind of pay homage to her because I certainly wouldn’t be here without her literally and figuratively.”
Tom’s female-centric episode of “The Bold and the Beautiful” will air March 27.

“Game Changer” is officially returning on Dropout starting April 7, with the ten-episode Season 7 dropping episodes biweekly on the comedy streaming service.
This season’s cast includes Brennan Lee Mulligan, Vic Michaelis, Lisa Gilroy, Lou Wilson and Oscar Montoya as the game show changes its premise every episode. Last season, the contestants faced unpredictable challenges revolving around art, bingo, trivia questions and false personas.
The show is hosted and executive produced by Dropout CEO Sam Reich, with co-executive producers including Chloe Badner, Ryan Creamer, Sam Geer, Mulligan and Paul Robalino. Sam Geer edited and directed all ten episodes.

MTV is bringing back the drama and the accusations with “Caught in the Act: Unfaithful,” set to return beginning April 15 at 9 p.m. ET/PT.
With host Tami Roman at the helm, the new season follows Roman as she works with a relationship expert to help suspicious lovers expose their cheating partners. The official synopsis reads: “Each week, a different relationship is put to the ultimate test. Once the truth is out, the suspicious lover is then faced with a difficult choice: join forces with their partner’s other lover or take them both down in a dramatic undercover operation.”
The show is executive produced by Lashan Browning, Donna Edge-Rachell, Paris Bauldwin, Alissa Horowitz, Daniel Wiener, Jamail Shelton and Rich Allen for Antoinette Media. Roman also serves as producer alongside executive producers Sitarah Pendelton-Eaglin, Jennifer Aguirre and supervising producer Jarrad Galano.
ACQUISITIONS
Paramount+ has acquired the documentary “The Children of October 7,” set to premiere April 23 followed by a linear run on MTV.
In the wake of the Oct. 7 attack, the documentary will feature social media activist Montana Tucker as she connects with Israeli children who were taken from their families.
The official synopsis reads: “‘The Children of October 7’ features deeply sensitive conversations between Tucker and these children who bravely share their experiences of trauma and survival as they continue to process the unthinkable – being held captive, witnessing the deaths of their parents and enduring violent invasions of their homes. Alongside Tucker’s support, the children present a poignant and heartfelt depiction of their terrifying experiences.”
The documentary is directed by Asaf Becker and produced by Eytan Schwartz, Meny Aviram, Mor Tregger, Zameret Alexaneroni, Jonathan Barsade and Rotem Alima.

Eli Baldrige has been promoted to EVP of development at A. Smith & Co. Productions, where he will continue to lead unscripted television.
Since joining the company in 2018, Aldridge has served as VP and SVP of development. He spearheaded the development process on Magnolia Network’s “Human v Hamster” and Roku’s “WWE: Next Gen,” in addition to producing shows like “Welcome to Plathville,” “Voices of Fire” and “Canine Intervention.”
“Eli has been an integral leader and developer here at A. Smith and Co. for many years, not only creating innovative shows that bend genre limits, but seeing them through to wide-reaching success,” A. Ilana Glazer is set to host the 29th annual Web Awards in celebration of the top achievements across advertising, podcasts, games, websites, video & film and more.
Glazer is known for her acclaimed series “Broad City,” originally created as a web series before its Comedy Central television run, alongside creative collaborator Abbi Jacobson. Most recently, Glazer starred in the comedy “Babes” from Neon and the standup special “Ilana Glazer: Human Magic.” She also joined the stage adaptation of George Clooney’s Oscar-nominated film “Good Night & Good Luck.”
“Hosting The Webby Awards is going to be a blast because I love the internet. I use it every day,” Glazer said in a statement. “You could call me both an internet optimist and enthusiast, so this is a match made in Industry Heaven.”

The seventh annual African American Film Critics Association TV Honors will take place August 23, 2025 at the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel.
The TV Honors celebrate outstanding achievements in television with a focus on highlighting diverse storytelling and talent.
“We are excited to once again celebrate the incredible talent and creativity that defines television today,” AAFCA’s president and co-founder Gil Robertson said in a statement. “The AAFCA TV Honors provides a platform to recognize the impactful narratives and performances that reflect the richness of the Black experience. Since being founded in 2003, AAFCA has been the premier body of Black film critics worldwide.
