‘Noah’ Acquired by Jambika Docs

Barcelona-based sales agency Jambika Docs has acquired the documentary feature “Noah” ahead of the European Film Market in Berlin.

“Noah” will have a limited theatrical release in Spain followed by a broadcast on TV3, À Punt Televisió of Valencia and RTVE.

The film follows Noah, a 26-year-old activist, who has turned her battle against seven rare and incurable diseases into a powerful story of resilience, science advancements and hope. Her journey underscores the vital role of a strong healthcare system in supporting those with complex conditions.

Since infancy, her life has been shaped by hospitalizations, chronic pain and high-risk surgeries. Yet, through groundbreaking medical innovations and an unbreakable spirit, she proves that giving up is not an option. Her story is a testament to perseverance and unconditional love, reminding us that nothing is impossible.

Juan Solera, head of acquisitions and sales at Jambika Docs, said: “I was deeply drawn to the emotional power of this documentary and the tremendous energy of Noah. Audiences connect with human stories, and Noah’s journey carries a profoundly relevant message. It’s an inspiring testament to the importance of public health and the progress of science.”

The film is the directorial debut of Louise Brix Andersen, a Danish filmmaker based in Barcelona. Cinematography is by Gema Briones.

It is produced by Marc Chica i José and David Delgado Pons at Limmat Films and Rafa Cerveró Ballester and Rafa Cerveró Sánchez-Capilla at BSGlobal TV. It is co-produced by 3Cat, with the support of ICEC (Catalan Institute of Cultural Enterprises), À Punt Televisió, and RTVE. Executive production is by Elena Marcos.

The film was completed in December 2024.
