Denis Villeneuve has his sights set on another A-lister to join the starry ensemble cast of “Dune: Messiah” — Robert Pattinson
As Villeneuve puts the finishing touches on the script for the next “Dune” movie, starring Timothee Chalamet and Zendaya, ahead of a summer shoot, sources tell Variety that there’s interest in having Pattinson join the project. However, no formal offer has been presented.
Pattinson recently co-starred with Zendaya in the A24 film “The Drama,” and he’s currently filming Christopher Nolan’s adaptation of “The Odyssey.” He is repped by WME, 3 Arts Entertainment, Curtis Brown Group and attorney Robert Offer.
Deadline was first to report news of Pattinson’s potential involvement. Legendary had no comment.
