‘School Spirits’ Renewed for Season 3 at Paramount+


School Spirits” has been renewed for a third season at Paramount+.

The teen drama series stars Peyton List as the recently dead Maddie Nears, who investigated her own mysterious disappearance while adjusting to high school purgatory in Season 1. Per the official description of Season 2, Maddie is “still stuck in the afterlife with the knowledge of what happened to her, and must unite her friends in the spectral and living worlds in order to reclaim her stolen life.” The season premiered with an average of 3.9 million viewers in 28 days, per Paramount, up 94% from Season 1, and concluded on March 6.

Along with List, the cast includes Kristian Ventura, Spencer MacPherson, Kiara Pichardo, Sarah Yarkin, Nick Pugliese, Rainbow Wedell, Josh Zuckerman and Milo Manheim.

“School Spirits” was created by Nate Trinrud and Megan Trinrud, who serve as showrunners and executive producers alongside Oliver Goldstick. List also produces. Awesomeness TV produces the series with oversight from Shauna Phelan, head of Nickelodeon and Awesomeness live-action, and Awesomeness Studios executives Brin Lukens and Austin Bedell. The series is distributed by Paramount Global Content Distribution.
