WWE and Fanatics have sealed a new podcast deal, building on a brand partnership that already includes global e-commerce, licensed merchandise, memorabilia and trading cards. Under the pact, Fanatics will become the primary partner of all WWE podcasts.
First up, WWE will launch “The Raw Recap Show” hosted by Megan Morant and Sam Roberts, which will react to each new weekly episode of “Monday Night Raw.” The premiere episode of “The Raw Recap Show” premieres Monday night following “Raw” on Netflix.
WWE will also debut an instant-reaction podcast hosted by Morant and Roberts following each Premium Live Event, with the first episode debuting after WrestleMania 41. Fanatics will have placement within each podcast and the shows will have access to Fanatics’ events and its network of athletes.
Morant and Roberts have previously been paired as co-hosts on numerous WWE talkback shows, including “The Bump,” “SmackDown LowDown,” and “Raw Talk” for WWE on Peacock.
New episodes of both shows will be available across all podcast platforms in addition to WWE’s YouTube channel, with additional podcasts hosted by WWE “Superstars and Legends” to be announced at a later date.
Fanatics became WWE’s exclusive global e-commerce partner in 2022, later expanding their long-term partnership to include operations of WWE’s global event merchandise business, including PLEs like WrestleMania and the Royal Rumble.
Last year, Fanatics Events partnered with WWE to launch the first “WWE World” in Philadelphia as part of WrestleMania XL, and brands will join forces in April for a five-day festival in Las Vegas surrounding WrestleMania 41.
