How to Watch the 2025 American Music Awards Live Online

The 2025 American Music Awards will air live on Monday, May 26 at 8 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. PT on CBS and Paramount+ with Showtime.

This year’s crop of nominees at the world’s largest fan-voted music awards show include Kendrick Lamar, who leads the nomination pack with 10 nominations. Post Malone received eight nominations, while Billie Eilish, Chappell Roan and Shaboozey all recieved seven nominations apiece.

In order to stream the American Music Awards live online, you’ll have to subscribe to Paramount+ With Showtime. Paramount+ essential subscribers will not be able to stream the show live, but will have access the next day on-demand in the U.S.

Jennifer Lopez is hosting this year’s ceremony, where Janet Jackson will receive the prestigious Icon Award and Rod Stewart will be honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award. For Jackson, it is her first live TV performance in seven years.

Additional artists being celebrated include Taylor Swift, who has six nominations and is described as “the winningest artist in AMAs history.” Bruno Mars, Lady Gaga, SZA, Morgan Wallen and Sabrina Carpenter also landed six nominations apiece, while Hozier, Benson Boone and Zach Bryan received five each. Nominations are determined by a combination of sales, streaming, airplay and touring data point from Billboard and Luminate.

The award ceremony will air live from Las Vegas and pay honor to the nation’s troops for Memorial Day. The show is produced by Dick Clark Productions. Clark created the award show in 1974.
