Jimmy Kimmel to Produce Nader Sisters Show for Hulu and Freeform
Modeling sisters Brooks, Sarah Jane, Grace Ann and Mary Holland Nader are set to star in a new docuseries for both Hulu and Freeform, Disney was set to announce Tuesday afternoon at its first-ever “Get Real” unscripted TV event. “Jimmy Kimmel Live” host Jimmy Kimmel is set to executive produce “Love Thy Nader,” which will premiere on both the streamer and the cable network later this summer.
According to Hulu, the show is a “coming-of-age” docuseries that stars the Nader sisters, “who left their humble beginnings in the Louisiana bayou for the glamour and grind of New York City.”
The sisters’ rise to notoriety started with Brooks who won a casting search to become a model for the Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue — which led to appearances in 2020, 2021 and 2022, as well as a cover slot in 2023.
From there, per Disney, Brooks’ “breakout success has led them into the high-stakes world of modeling, the social scene of Manhattan’s elite, and opened the door to a whirlwind of attention in their romantic lives.”
The reality show continues the Nader sisters’ relationship with Disney; last fall, Brooks appeared in the Season 33 edition of “Dancing With the Stars,” where she placed ninth.
As for “Love Thy Nader,” Disney adds, “set against the backdrop of Soho lofts, fashion campaigns and skyscraper dreams, ‘Love Thy Nader’ explores the ultimate question of what it really means to ‘make it.’ In a city where one can burn bright or go up in flames, sometimes the only thing truly needed is a sister who has your back.
Kimmel’s Kimmelot shingle produces “Love Thy Nader” along with Walt Disney Television Alternative and Smoking Baby Productions. Showrunner and exec producer is Rachel Tung, while Jimmy Kimmel, James “Baby Doll” Dixon and Brandon Panaligan are also executive producers. Amanda Weinstein serves as co-executive producer, and Hampton Story and Scott Lonker are producers.
