Amazon Prime Video has renewed “Maxton Hall – The World Between Us for Season 3. The new season will follow the third book in Mona Katsen’s book series, continuing James and Ruby’s story at the opulent boarding school. Season 2 of “Maxton Hall – The World Between Us” will be released on November 7.

The official description for Season 2 states:

“After their passionate night together in Oxford and her greatest life goal within reach, everything seems to be going perfectly for Ruby (Harriet Herbig-Matten). But a stroke of fate in James’ (Damian Hardung) family changes everything and James himself, of all people, brings her back from cloud nine to a harsh reality. Ruby is devastated. She has never had such strong feelings for anyone as she does for James – and never before has anyone hurt her so deeply. She wants her old life back, where no one at Maxton Hall knew her yet and she wasn’t part of the elitist world of her classmates. But she can’t forget James – especially since he’s doing everything, he can to win her back.”

“Maxton Hall – The World Between Us” also stars Sonja Weißer, Fedja van Huêt, Ben Felipe, Runa Greiner, Andrea Guo, Justus Riesner, Frederic Balonier and Eli Riccardi. Season 1 director Martin Schreiner will return to direct Season 2. Executive producers Markus Brunnemann and Ceylan Yildirim, the head writer of the series, return for Season 2 alongside writers Juliana Lima Dehne and Marlene Melchior.

The series is produced by UFA Fiction and supported by the German Motion Picture Fund (GMPF).

GREENLIGHTS

Paramount has greenlit ‘’My Nightmare Stalker: The Eva LaRue Story,” which will premiere later this year on Paramount+. The project, which is currently in production, will feature in-depth interviews with Eva LaRue (“CSI: Miami”, “All My Children”) about her experiences.

The documentary will feature LaRue as she “shares the harrowing true story of how she and her daughter Kaya endured 12 years of terror at the hands of a relentless stalker — a man who operated from the shadows, turning their everyday lives into a chilling nightmare,” per the official logline. “In this gripping account, Eva reveals the emotional toll, the terrifying encounters, and the strength it took to protect her family and survive.”

“This documentary shares a deeply painful time in my and my daughter’s life—an experience shared by nearly 13.5 million stalking victims each year,” said LaRue. “Stalking is a global crisis, often involving violence and lasting psychological trauma. Yet many victims are denied justice due to weak laws, limited awareness, and the challenge of proving these crimes. I hope my story raises awareness and helps drive meaningful change in how authorities protect victims and pursue justice.”

Executive Producer Susan Zirinsky, President of See it Now Studios spoke about LaRue’s bravery to tell her story for the first time in a documentary. “Eva’s extraordinary talent as an actress is matched only by her remarkable courage. After a relentless 12-year ordeal that put both her and her daughter in life-threatening danger, she has chosen to confront the unimaginable with strength, and offers hope for those living in the shadow of fear. We’re honored to help tell her story — a journey so harrowing and chilling that it’s impossible to imagine it’s not straight from a script page of a crime thriller.”

“My Nightmare Stalker: The Eva LaRue Story” is produced by FORTÉ Entertainment for See It Now Studios. The film is directed by Stephen Scott and produced and written by Sarah Sharkey Pearce. FORTÉ Entertainment’s Andrea Gabourie, Mitchell Gabourie, and LaRue serve as executive producers, with Kim Creelman as a supervising producer. For See It Now Studios, Susan Zirinsky and Terence Wrong are executive producers, with Aysu Saliba and Cara Tortora as the supervising producers.
