Morgan Wallen Slates Stadium Tour for Summer 2025, Reveals Album Title
Country superstar Morgan Wallen will hit stadiums in 10 North American cities this summer — most of them for two-night stands, in a show of his well-established ticket-selling prowess — and will likely have a new album out by then as well, since he is naming the tour after the just-announced title of his forthcoming fourth studio album.
The new album will be titled “I’m the Problem,” and though no release date was given in Friday’s announcement, revealing its name and cover does allow Wallen the chance to also reveal that this summer’s swing through major ballparks is called the I’m the Problem Tour.
The summer outing includes several big-name opening acts who would normally be headlining arenas in their own right. Each city gets two openers. Miranda Lambert, Brooks & Dunn, Thomas Rhett and Koe Wetzel will rotate in the middle slot. The third slot will see Ella Langley, Anne Wilson, Gavin Adcock and Corey Kent rotating through the show-opening position.
The tour begins June 20 in Houston and is currently scheduled to run through a Sept. 13 date in Edmonton in Canada. A June 28 show in Madison, Wisconsin is the only date on this leg where he is slated to play a single night. Otherwise, he is doing two nights each in Houston (June 20-21); Miami Gardens, Florida (June 11-12); Glendale, Arizona (July 18-19); Seattle (July 25-26); Santa Clara, California (Aug. 1-2); Cleveland (Aug. 15-16); Foxborough, Mass. (Aug. 22-23); Toronto (Sept. 4-5); and Edmonton (Sept. 12-13).
Sign-ups are currently available for an artist presale to come at morganwallen.com. The general ticket sale begins Jan. 31 at 10 a.m. local time.
In addition to these 19 shows, Wallen already had one other date on the books, his inaugural Sand in My Boots Festival in Alabama in August. The singer’s camp says that the shows now announced will be Wallen’s only concert appearances for 2025.
“I’m the Problem” is also the name of Wallen’s next single. The forthcoming album’s title track will be out Jan. 31. He has already released three stand-alone singles that are presumed to be part of the next album, the latest of which was “Smile,” preceded by the country airplay chart-topper “Lies Lies Lies” and the Billboard Hot 100 No. 1 single “Love Somebody.”
Although no release date or track list have yet been given for the “I’m the Problem” album, one thing that can be said for certain is that it will be one of the biggest albums of 2025, and very possibly the biggest. Country fans’ thirst for Wallen product has been unabated, personal controversies notwithstanding. His previous album, “One Thing at a Time,” topped the Billboard 200 for 19 non-consecutive weeks, and was recently named by Billboard as the No. 1 album of the 21st century to date.
