‘Real Housewives of London’ Reunion to Be Hosted by Comedian Katherine Ryan
Comedian Katherine Ryan will host the reunion for the debut season of “The Real Housewives of London” on Hayu.
Though the series hasn’t revealed its premiere date yet, it’s set to hit the streamer later this year. According to a press release, the “All That Glitters” and “Duchess” star will “bring her unique humor to navigate the final discussion of the season, get answers to all the lingering questions, and, ultimately, ensure the Housewives spill the tea.”
As was revealed last month, “The Real Housewives of London” will star Juliet Angus, Amanda Cronin, Karen Loderick-Peace, Juliet Mayhew, Panthea Parker and Nessie Welschinger. It marks the first-ever original commission for Hayu, which is part of NBCUniversal.
“Pinch me and tell me this is real! As a mega-fan of ‘The Real Housewives’ franchise – and of Hayu – I can’t wait to get Juliet, Amanda, Karen, Juliet, Panthea and Nessie into the hot seats at the end of the season,” Ryan said in a statement. “Hosting ‘The Real Housewives of London’ reunion show is a dream opportunity for me – and I’m honored to be trusted to represent the fans and to bring a female perspective to analyzing all the emotions, arguments, twists and revelations!”
The series went into production in March and promises to showcase the “luxury of living in the U.K.’s iconic capital,” according to its official synopsis. “Whether hosting lavish dinners, escaping to a Scottish castle, or rebuilding bonds over bottles of champagne — they’re all navigating life, legacy and loyalty. With big personalities, deep histories and no shortage of designer drama, the path to connection is never simple — but it’s always captivating. London’s calling… and these six ladies have answered.”
