Shane Gillis‘ comedy series “Tires” has been renewed for Season 3 at Netflix, Variety has learned.

The news comes just under a month after the premiere of Season 2, which launched on Netflix on June 5. Gillis self-financed the six-episode first season of “Tires,” with Netflix acquiring the show as part of a deal that included him getting another stand up special at the streamer.

Season 3 of “Tires” will premiere on Netflix in 2026. Along with Gillis, the cast includes Steven Gerben, Chris O’Connor, Kilah Fox, and Stavros Halkias. Guest stars in Season 2 included Andrew Schulz, Vince Vaughn, Thomas Haden Church, Ron White, Jon Lovitz, Veronika Slowikowska, and Steph Tolev.

In the show, “Will (Gerben), the nervous and unqualified heir to an auto repair chain, attempts to turn his father’s business around despite constant torture from his cousin and now employee, Shane (Gillis),” per the official logline.

In the second season of the series, Will and Shane deal with the unexpected success of their big marketing idea.

Gillis and Gerben created the series along with McKeever, with McKeever also serving as director. All three are also executive producers, with Gillis and McKeever exec producing via Dad Sick Productions. Brandon James executive produces via Rough House along with Brian Stern and Kenneth Slotnick for AGI Entertainment Media & Management as well as Becky Astphan.

Netflix released their first special with Gillis, “Beautiful Dogs,” in 2023. It proved to be a hit, reaching the top 10 charts in five countries and spending two weeks on the U.S. top 10 list.
